TRAINING
As you are all aware I am constantly reminded you that the League is
subsidising training for coaches and managers (one of, one person per team,
so if your manager attended the course last season as manager, his assistant
cannot now take advantage of the bursary this season).
Take up is good but not great and not very team has taken advantage.
Those clubs booking places please read these important notes.
If you book the Level 1 course with the OFA without reference to WDYFL then
it will cost you £120
But if booked as a WDYFL Level 1 course with the OFA you can take advantage
of our bulk purchase deal and also our £40 subsidy and it will cost you just
£50
THAT'S A SAVING OF £70 PER PERSON!
Similar if you book the age appropriate training module with the OFA
without reference to
WDYFL then it will cost you £15
But if booked as an age appropriate training module with the OFA you can
take advantage
of our 100% subsidy and it will cost you nothing
THAT'S A SAVING OF £15 PER PERSON!
Remember these offers are open to one person per team
For the age appropriate training module it's available for U9's
managers/coaches, but
please ring me if you have other age groups want to go on it.
If you have enough people (about 20) the course can be run locally to you or
at your venue.
This scheme is open to all clubs with WDYFL teams not just those OFA
affiliated.

The League is still committed to providing free the Referees, Assistant
Referees and Mini Soccer Match Official courses. Remember it is a League
rule that each U13, U14 and U15 must have qualified referee associated with
their team (rule 13K, page 35).
It’s a no brainer a match official’s course for free!!!
All the League requires is:
A) You are with a WDYFL club and team
B) You complete and pass the whole course
C) You give a season’s worth of officiating to your team in this League.
Remember once qualified you don’t have to referee all games at all age
groups you can just referee the games you want. To find out more contact the
